Oh, the irony

So, today, I missed half of a meeting.

To set up this meeting, I emailed my colleague saying, “I keep track of my email calendar appointment system, so just set up a date convenient for you.”

And, I missed half the meeting because I was in Staples trying to decide, of all things, which calendar/planner I wanted to buy.

  1. It could have been worse. You could have worked at Staples and missed a meeting because you were at Wal-Mart shopping for a calendar/planner.

(I was just trying to make you feel better, but I don’t think it worked.)

Speaking of calendars, I like the way you have yours set up on your blog, so the dates of your posts are links to the posts themselves.

    • Thanks for the compliment on the calendar. To be honest, I use it as a bit of an accountability measure; I can tell at a glance when I’m slacking off on updating my blog.

And, planner scenario that you painted made me smile; it indeed would have been an illustration of epic irony.
